1st cycle, 4 years, 8 semesters, 240 ECTS-credits

Field- biology - ecology/environmental sciences

The study program in ecology lasts for 4 years (8 semesters) with 3600 classes of theory and practice, for which the student acquires 240 credits. The professional title after the termination of the first cycle of studies and defense of graduate thesis is Bachelor of Science in Biology - Ecology (B.Sci.Biol.Ecol.) Thus study at bachelor's level and the programme is designed to meet the level VII/2 and qualification descriptors in full. The study programme provides continuation of education on higher level i.e. postgraduate studies (specialization or masters studies) in different areas of biology, ecology and environmental sciences.
